I worked for UPP, which handled the VFX post-production for the feature film *All Quiet on the Western Front*. My work was in the field of digital matte painting: creating and extending digital environments of historical battlefields, visual extensions of locations, and atmospheric elements that support a realistic and raw depiction of war scenes. All of this was carried out in accordance with strict requirements for historical authenticity, visual realism and the VFX pipeline standards of a major production.
